Panasonic HVAC Europe to Enhance Warehouse Operations

We are thrilled to announce a significant new partnership with Panasonic’s European HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning) Division (PHVACEU), underscoring our commitment to delivering top-tier warehouse management solutions. Panasonic has chosen us to enhance operations in several key warehouse operations t, a testament to the robust capabilities of our cloud-based warehouse management system. This collaboration is set to streamline key elements of the supply chain, driving operational efficiency and accuracy, and reinforcing their commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Getting to Know Panasonic HVAC

The HVAC division of Panasonic has a clear mission to “create healthy, comfortable lives and societies by integrating and further advancing its air-quality and air-conditioning technologies while supporting a more sustainable world through its solutions such as its heat pumps.” Their portfolio provides a wide range of products and solutions, including residential air conditioners, commercial HVAC systems, natural refrigerant heat pumps to heat spaces and domestic water, and advanced air-related systems like ventilation and air purification units. By focusing on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, Panasonic’s HVAC products provide superior performance and align with global efforts to reduce carbon footprints.

Our partnership with PHVACEU is particularly significant, given the division’s critical role in Panasonic’s overall strategy. Their need for a reliable and efficient warehouse management solution led them to us, where our system’s ability to automate and optimise warehouse operations stood out as a perfect match for their needs. The decision to collaborate with us reflects their trust in our ability to support their ambitious goals and drive further success in their operations.

Addressing Panasonic's Warehouse Challenges

“Having used various WMS platforms in the past, I was impressed by how intuitive and adaptable Clarus is. It’s a system that does exactly what we need it to do—manage our inventory efficiently, without unnecessary complexity,” said Mick Mooney, European Warehouse Operations Manager at PHVACEU.

Clarus is set to provide Panasonic with a powerful platform designed to automate and optimise key warehouse processes, from order picking to packing and shipping. The system will ensure that the right products are in the right place at the right time, reducing manual errors and minimising downtime. A critical factor in Panasonic’s decision to partner with Clarus was the system’s ability to offer real-time visibility into inventory levels, order statuses, and overall warehouse performance. This enhanced transparency will empower Panasonic’s warehouse managers to make data-driven decisions, quickly address potential bottlenecks, and ensure seamless coordination between departments.

Clarus will ensure that every SKU within the warehouse is fully traceable providing end-to-end visibility which will not only support compliance with industry standards, but also improve processes like product auditing, and customer satisfaction by providing an easily accessible audit trail for every product.

With the HVAC division continuing to grow, scalability was a key consideration. Clarus offers a flexible and future-ready platform that can adapt to Panasonic’s evolving needs, including expansions into new markets and the introduction of new product lines. This ensures long-term support for Panasonic’s operational goals without the need for frequent system overhauls or costly upgrades.

“As we continue to grow, having a system like Clarus, which can scale with us and offer real-time visibility, will be a game-changer for our operations,” added Mooney. “We are confident this partnership will help us achieve our long-term goals with efficiency and accuracy.”

The Beginning of a Transformative Partnership

The initial steps of our partnership with Panasonic are set to demonstrate the significant value we aim to bring to their warehouse operations. While the project is yet to fully begin, we are closely collaborating with their team to implement our warehouse management system across their facilities. Once rolled out, we expect improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and overall workflow to quickly become evident. Our system’s automation capabilities are designed to reduce the manual workload on Panasonic’s staff, allowing them to focus on more strategic tasks while ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

By automating critical tasks such as goods receipt, stock put-away, and order picking, we aim to help Panasonic reduce errors, improve order fulfilment times, and increase overall productivity. The planned use of barcode scanning technology is expected to enable faster and more accurate inventory tracking, which is vital for a company of Panasonic’s scale.

Mick Mooney from Panasonic commented on the partnership, saying, “As we prepare for implementation, we are confident that this partnership will bring significant improvements to our processes, enabling us to better manage our inventory and meet our operational goals efficiently.”

Our team shares this enthusiasm. “Partnering with Panasonic is a significant achievement for us,” said Ben Percival of Clarus WMS. “We’re proud to support such a prestigious company in optimising their warehouse operations. The potential success of this partnership is just the beginning, and we look forward to delivering even greater value as we move forward.”

This collaboration with Panasonic’s HVAC division promises to drive further innovation and operational excellence. As the project progresses, we anticipate that the efficiencies gained will not only enhance Panasonic’s warehouse operations but also contribute to their sustainability and customer satisfaction goals. We are committed to helping Panasonic achieve these objectives and are excited to see the positive impact of our partnership unfold.
