Parcelforce Worldwide, commonly known as Parcelforce, is a postal and mail delivery service based in Milton Keynes, UK. Founded in 1990, Parcelforce provides parcel delivery services within the UK and internationally, serving both private individuals and businesses. The company operates one of the UK’s largest sorting hubs, capable of processing nearly 60,000 packages per hour and receiving a drop-off vehicle approximately every forty-five seconds.
Originally a subsidiary of Royal Mail, Parcelforce was responsible for parcel deliveries. However, in 1992, the UK government privatized Parcelforce, and it has operated as an independent company since then. While it previously handled universal package delivery in the UK until 2002, it now focuses primarily on providing same-day and next-day express delivery services.
